IT Project Manager Training Course (PRO)

October 31 to December 16,2005 (tentative)

Nine (9) trainees per year
3. Application Deadline
June 15,2005 (Only the applicants whom pass the first selection)
 

2. Qualification of Applicants

   Applicants should :

= General Condition

  1) be nominated by the CICC counterpart organization, and be recommended by their employer.

  2) have a university education or an equivalent level of education.

  3) have a sufficient working knowledge of spoken and written English.

  4) have no prior experiences of the CICC invitational training program within the past two years.

  5) have no prior experiences of any training courses equivalent to this course.

6) be in good health, both physically and mentally, in order to complete the training course successfully. Pregnancy is regarded as a disqualifying condition for any participation in this training course.

  7) be non-military personnel.

  8) be employed in the same organization during the course period, and must be in a position where the results of the training can be put to practical use. Students are not eligible.

9) be between 20 and 50 years of age on their participation in the course.

 = Condition of Technical Skills

1) have prior experiences of project leader.

2) have no Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification of Project Management Institute in USA or equivalent Certifications in other countries.

3) have more than 1 year’s experience in using Windows.

4) have experience in using PC or Workstation.

5) have more than 3 years’ computer/network related work experience.

6) preferably have passed one of the IT engineers examinations certificated mutually by regulatory authorities between Japan and China, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar and Chinese Taipei. Please refer to the table of examinations on the page 8.

Windows XP Professional

4. Language of Instruction

The course will be conducted in English.

 5. Certificate

Trainees who have successfully completed the course will be awarded a certificate issued by CICC.
 

Bridge System Engineer Training Course (BET)

October 31 to December 16,2005 (tentative)

2. Qualification of Applicants

   Applicants should :

= General Condition

  1) be nominated by the CICC counterpart organization, and be recommended by their employer.

  2) have a university education or an equivalent level of education.

  3) have Japanese language skill equivalent to the grade 3 of the Japanese Language Examination, and also sufficient working knowledge of spoken and written English.

  4) have no prior experiences of the CICC invitational training program within the past two years.

  5) have no prior experiences of any training courses equivalent to this course.

6) be in good health, both physically and mentally, in order to complete the training course successfully. Pregnancy is regarded as a disqualifying condition for any participation in this training course.

  7) be non-military personnel.

8) be employed in the same organization during the course period, and must be in a position where the results of the training can be put to practical use. Students are not eligible.

9) be employed in an organization having Japanese offshore market as its target market, or having business partnership with Japanese IT companies in software development field, at present or in the near future

10) be between 25 and 45 years of age on their participation in the course.

 = Condition of Technical Skills

1) be familiar with the operation of Windows 98 or later, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

2) have more than 3 years' software development experience.

3) preferably have experience in offshore software development projects.

4) preferably have passed one of the IT engineers examinations certificated mutually by regulatory authorities between Japan and China, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar and Chinese Taipei. Please refer to the table of examinations on the page 8.

 4. Language of Instruction

Lectures and discussions will be conducted in Japanese and partially in English. The program documents and training materials will be prepared in Japanese and English.

 5. Certificate

   Trainees who have successfully completed the course will be awarded a certificate issued by CICC.
