The main purpose of the IT Caravan in Takeo is to promote ICT awareness in the region of Cambodia. The workshop was started at 8:30 AM.
Open speech by Mr. Nagatani Mitsuyuki
At Cheasim High School
The starting to address open speech by Mr. Nagatani Mitsuyuki, he showed some information about CICC and the related between CICC with other countries in the world and in ASEAN countries. Moreover he also reviewed some activities of CICC in Cambodia such as Bi-lateral conference, On-side training and last IT Caravan in Battambang province. He also descript the objective of CICC which is always have vision to help and promote IT infrastructure in Cambodia, IT Caravan is also a way for distribute IT knowledge to Urban or Rural area. The providing of scholarship from CICC to Cambodia people through IT committee of EIC is also including in his speech. He also focused on E-learning and the advantages of distance learning by using internet.
Mr. Phal Des Chef of IT Committee of EIC had provided the keynote speech of lecture. He mention about the advantage of using IT in social life with real and clear example of using IT in education and in Business. The flexibilities of IT were also included in his speech. And many other advantage of using internet and computer was focusing in his speech.

Introducing about the Internet and Basic of Computer
After the speech some CICC ex-trainees had introduce the participants about themselves and some experience that they had during that training in Japan or in Cambodia. They also give the command to the participant about the object of them to promote IT in Cambodia. The initialize of CICC ex-trainees alumni was raise up. Those CICC ex-trainees are:

· Ms. Nou Chenda
· Mr. Kheiv Sopheatra
· Mr. Nora
The introduction of using internet and email was started after the speech by Mr. Kim Meng who is a CICC ex-trainee of multimedia on site-training course. The main idea of this training is deliver the basic knowledge of using internet and basic Computer.
· The first steps he told the participant about the basic of using computer and encourage them don’t afraid of using computer.
· He talk the overall of using internet and the advantage such as it just using only one mouse with a computer that connected to internet it seem that they are facing to the world, “You can get many thing from internet just only sit and click the mouse, You can go to anywhere that you want in the world” he said.
· After that he start to teach how to using internet explorer by introduce step by step with the slide that he already prepared for show.
· After finish the part how browse and surfing online by using internet explore he continue to next steps how to use search content by using search engine Yahoo (www.yahoo.com) and Google (www.google.com) .
· The next part is introducing how to communicate using email, Mr. Kim Meang show the participants how sign up an email by using yahoo mail. How to send mail, receive and read mail is also including in this part.
· The step that participant practice by themselves was started after the break. That was the process hand by hand. The five ex-trainees were assisting of using internet in the lab with 10 computers dial-up connection. Meanwhile the member of IT committee leading by Mr. MOM Vortana Deputy Research and Development Manager were also the assistance in that practicing period.

7. CONCLUSION
· Some participants suggest having the kind of this workshop in Cambodia again next time.
· Some participants were excite because of teacher are still young but they can do a very good job in teaching them.
· Most of participants have known and remember CICC and IT Committee of EIC
· They are welcome to have this course again in Takeo province.
· Most of participants said that the duration of workshop should be longer than this.
· Some participant said that the teaching is a bit fast but they can understand clearly because the teacher had included the real pictures in presentation.
· The participant whose have some experience in using internet said that training makes them clearer and they can get some point that they miss or don’t know.
· Some participants were happy with that training because they had enough equipment which easy for them practice and get the knowledge.
