The IT committee is one of committees in Engineering Institute of Cambodia and was found since the invention of EIC. All members of IT committee are people who specialize in IT field.

The dramatic progress of information technology (IT) and rapid development of the Internet are accelerating qualitative chages in all aspects of our social life, ranging from administration, industry, and economy, to medicine, welfare education, and environment.

Developing countries such as in Asia are actively promoting the development of their society with advancement of IT infrature, promotion of IT industry, fostering and utilization of IT personal, pursuring to take advantage of this opportunity for further development by overcoming digital divide.

Further progress of IT being expected with the opening of the 21st century, IT Committee will contue to implement cooperations programs actively with the understanding and assistance from related organizations and companies toward sharing the benefits of IT in a global network era with the people of developing countries in the future.
